ISO 14001 Certification for Australian Companies
An ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate provides evidence to your stakeholders (clients, regulators, employees, public, etc.) that you have proactively identified where your organisation, processes, products and services may cause an impact on the environment and demonstrates your commitment to reducing negative impacts to a reasonable minimum.
It is a simple fact of life that all business activities cause some form of environmental impact. A common misunderstanding is that this accreditation would require you to reduce or eliminate all impacts.
We assist companies across Australia to achieve this certification. So, whether your business is in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth or anywhere else in Australia, contact ATLAS Certification today to get a competitive quotation!
ISO 14001:2015 Standards & Principles
The essence of this level of accreditation is that it requires an organisation to put an Environmental Management System in place to identify where its activities may cause an impact on the environment, to assess the significance of such an impact and then to determine which impacts it might be able to eliminate or reduce to a level that you are (more) comfortable with.
ISO14001:2015 (or AS/NZS/ISO14001:2016) is based on the same Management System principles as ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 and works in exactly the same way, albeit of course with a focus on the environmental performance rather than on meeting customer requirements or the safety of workers.
This certification can save an organisation a lot of money in the long run through improved process efficiencies, reduction of waste, reduction of energy usage, etc. It also reduces the likelihood of fines by ensuring regulatory compliance.
And finally, like any type of certification we offer, it opens a lot of doors to potential clients and contracts which will otherwise remain firmly shut!
